We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking finance leader to join our University as Director of Financial Control, a key role at the heart of our financial strategy and governance.

This is an exciting time to join a thriving, research-intensive University. As a member of the senior finance leadership team, you will play an important role in maintaining the financial integrity of the institution, overseeing statutory reporting, audit, treasury, transactions and compliance. Working closely with the CFO and engaging with colleagues across the academic and professional services community, you will help shape the financial sustainability of the University and support the delivery of our strategic ambitions.

You’ll lead a skilled and committed team, ensuring that the University’s financial operations and controls remain robust, efficient, and fit for purpose in a changing external environment. The role offers a unique opportunity to combine technical excellence with meaningful impact in a values-driven organisation.
